LOANS

A loan is a privilege. A loan officer or a credit committee made up of fellow members will review each loan request and decide on its acceptance. A loan is available for any productive purpose. The member must have a good credit record in order for a loan to be considered. A share balance of $100.00 must be maintained when a loan is carried by a member. Check our latest rates.

OVERDRAFT POLICY

The overdraft policy addresses the issue of honoring overdrafts by members on the share draft (checking) account. Overdrafts from the share draft account occur when a member has written a check against funds not currently on deposit in the account.

Each member who opens a share draft account may have four overdraft sources attached to the account. Six transfers per month may be made on each source, whether it is a loan or share account.

If all overdraft sources are exhausted with no funds available to cover the share draft, the credit union will make a choice to return the draft as a non-sufficient fund item or pay the draft. The criteria used to determine if payment should be made is as follows:
Payroll deduction is due from the employer

Direct deposit is due via ACH (Automated Clearing House)

Six overdrafts (Regulation D) have been made in one month on each overdraft source and funds are still available.

The member deposits funds to the checking account prior to 10:30 a.m. the following morning.

VISA CREDIT CARDS -- no annual fee

If you haven't applied for your RC SSE Federal Credit Union VISA Credit Card, you have missed out on the opportunity to build Scorecard points. For every dollar you charge on our VISA Credit Card, one point is awarded. Points may be cashed in for merchandise and services. Our members are redeeming points for appliances, hotel stays, and round-trip airfare for travel. Points may also be redeemed at the Credit Union for increased interest rates paid on Share Certificates or to reduce the interest rate on a new car loan financed through the Credit Union.

Your Credit Union never charges an annual fee or cash advance fee. Call today for current rates charged and terms of the account.
